Thank you so much for taking care of me in this request. This is TRUE customer service.
I’m going to be using a Tungsten E2 to control a Sony TV, Sony Surround System, Magnavox VCR, and DirecTivo DVR.
My living room is only about 8 feet wide so that is the max distance I can test from. I was able to download and sync the license file without any issues. Thanks again!

I use a Tungsten E Palm. I will let you know about distance when I check it out. I did install an earlier trial version and tested it at close to 10 feet. It expired after 10 days. I did have enough of a test to see that it worked for me. That is why I decided to purchase the newer version.

I have been testing the program on a Palm IIIc and I can use the remote from about 3-5 metres (10-15ft). I can send you more information after I have been using the program for awhile.
